Astrid Han is an Illustrator and designer from China, currently based in Los Angeles. She majored in Illustration at ArtCenter College of Design. She always believe that her illustration is a lens that helps people to see through her imagination, passion and life.
She was born and raised in Beijing, China. Even though she live in a different country away from home now, she still have a deep connection with it. She uses my own language to illustrated the culture and place she belongs to. Nature is another thing that fascinates her. She takes pleasure of being part of it. She draws with vibrant colors and organic shapes. Texture adds more interest and depth to her illustration. There’re also a lot of possibilities for her illustration, they could be posters, decorative wall art, editorial illustration and etc. Besides creating digital illustration, she also fell in love with screen printing. This special technique gives her work a more organic touch, which seems to be very harmonious with her subjects.
